How to set up the Rewards Landing Page

What is the Rewards landing page?

The Rewards landing page is a storefront page where you can highlight your loyalty program to both new and returning customers. While most customers will interact with the program through their Customer Portal, this dedicated page gives you a way to showcase rewards, tiers, and referral benefits before someone makes a purchase or subscribes. It’s an effective way to build awareness and drive early engagement to your Loyalty program.

How do I set up the Rewards Landing Page?

Step 1: Create the page template in Shopify

1. In your Shopify Admin, go to Sales Channels > Online Store > Themes.

2. Find the theme you want to edit and click Customize.

3. In the top-center dropdown (usually labeled "Home page"), select Pages > Create template. 
   

   

4. Name your new template (e.g., rewards-page or loyalty-landing).

Step 2: Customize the template layout

1. In your Shopify theme editor, go to the left-hand sidebar under Template and hide the default “Page” block.

2. Under Template, click Add section > Apps.
   

   

3. You'll see a list of available Skio Loyalty app blocks:

   • Credit Balance

   • Earn Credits

   • How it Works

   • Redeem Credits

   • Skio Loyalty – FAQ

   • Tiers Overview

4. Add any combination of these blocks depending on what you want to showcase.

5. Once added, click any Skio block in the left sidebar to open its settings. You can:

   • Customize the text, colors, and layout.

   • Tailor content to match your brand tone and voice.

6. You can also use standard Shopify theme blocks like images, text, or videos to enhance your loyalty page design.

Step 3: Create and assign the page

Once your template is set up:

1. Click Save in the Theme Editor.

2. Go to Shopify Admin > Sales Channels > Online Store > Pages.

3. Click Create page and give it a name (e.g., “Rewards”).

4. Set a custom URL handle (e.g., /rewards).

5. In the Template dropdown, select the new template you just created.

6. Choose the page visibility:

   • Set to Visible if you’re ready to launch.

   • Set to Hidden if you want to preview or schedule the release.
