Overview
Customers often request that their account be deleted internally. In those cases, merchants can use this help article.
Shopify Limitations
Shopify has a limitation that prevents customer profiles from being deleted if the customer has ever had a subscription.
Instead, you can erase the customer’s data in Shopify. Shopify has a help guide here that lists this information as well.
Erasing a customer in Skio
Skio auto-erases the customer data once it's erased from the Shopify side.
Shopify's "erase personal data" option is GDPR compliant and will send the Skio app an erase request so that we can also erase it from our end. All this is API-based, so nothing further is required.
Erasing a customer in Shopify
