Overview
This status indicates a pause in subscription billing due to a fraud review process. Any attempt to bill while under this status will automatically fail without creating a billing attempt.
What is it?
"Contract Under Review" is a status applied to subscription contracts identified as potential fraud risks. This status is activated when we identify a subscription which has been flagged by Shopify as potentially fraudulent.
How does it work?
When a subscription is set to "Contract Under Review" status, it means Shopify has flagged the original order related to this contract as a potential fraud risk. This status prevents any further billing attempts until the issue is resolved.
How do I resolve it?
To resolve a "Contract Under Review" status and return the subscription to "Active" status, you must manually review and fulfill the order through their Shopify dashboard, accepting the associated risk.
