Overview
Within the Skio app, on the "Customer portal" page, there are plenty of customizations and features to enhance the customer portal for your subscribers. This page can be found under Customer portal > Portal settings in the Skio dashboard. This guide will review the settings and features available.
Customer portal actions
This setting allows you to hide certain buttons in the customer portal and prevent these actions from being taken in the customer portal. Please note this only hides the buttons in the customer portal and does not disable the action in all instances on the subscription so your CX team can still take actions. Make sure you don't have any quick actions setup that bypass this button!
- Note, if you hide 'Next order date' it will also hide 'Reactivate' for your customers who are cancelled. Those customers will need to contact your customer support teams to reactivate.
Hide customer portal banners
Hide the customer portal banners for the Surprise and delight feature and/or the volume discount feature. In most cases, these banners will not be hidden. These banners will only appear if these features have been enabled.
Add custom button
Add a customer button in the customer portal that can link out to helpful resources such as support teams, loyalty programs, and FAQ pages.
Add custom greeting
Personalize the customer portal with a custom greeting to display to subscribers when they log into the customer portal.
Show order tracking
On the order history page in the customer portal, display a tracking link for orders. The tracking link auto-populates from Shopify and is especially helpful if you use the Skio customer portal for 1-time customers in addition to subscribers.
Always show one-time upsell cards
In the customer portal, the upsell carousel will, by default, hide any products that are already in subscription. This setting will make sure all products are show in the carousel, even if the subscriber already has it in their subscription - the more the merrier!
Expand action buttons
By default, the Skio customer portal will only show 3 buttons (on mobile) and 4 buttons on desktop with a dropdown selector for all the hidden buttons. Enabling this setting will show all buttons on both mobile and desktop.
Hide quantity editing in customer portal
This setting will prevent subscribers from being able to adjust quantities, adding and removing quantities from their subscription for the products they're subscribed to. The subscriber can still remove and/or swap products, this only limits the subscriber from being able to edit the quantity of those products.
Show saved dollar amount by subscribing
This setting will display how much a customer has saved on a subscription in the header of the Skio customer portal. It will show how they've saved compared to buying a one time purchase.
Note: saved amount is calculated by taking the (current subscription price amount - otp price) * (# of orders). It does not take into account additional discounts( current nor past) or what the state of the subscription was previously in
Use in-portal payment management
This setting will allow customers to update their payment methods in the customer portal, without having to contact the store or receive an update email.
Theme
The theme editing tool allows for the customer portal to be customized to match the website branding by updating colours, type, and borders.
