Outline
Overview
- Adding products into Skio creates the subscription rules so a product can be ordered on subscription
- A subscribe and save plan or a prepaid plan is required for each shipping interval per variant
- Products will be configured during the migration but brands will likely need to update or add products over time
What is it?
The products page in the Skio admin is where a brand will find the subscription information for each product in Skio. The Selling Plans page is where a brand will manage the subscription information. Skio will sync directly with Shopify and all products in Shopify can be added into Skio as a subscription.
Why should I use it?
Setting up products in Skio is a requirement if the product is going to be offered as a subscription on the website or to make it available within the customer portal.
Shopify product sync:
- Note: Just because the product is available to setup as a subscription doesn’t mean merchants have to make it available as a subscription
- In your Skio dashboard go to Tools > Products.
- Click on Sync products in the top right corner.
Skio Product page:
When you click on a product on the Skio product page you will be taken to the Edit product settings page for that product. From here you can select if you'd like the product to be one-time upsell eligible (with or without a discount), or hide it from customers. You can also access the selling plan(s) that this product is in.
