Overview

  • Rules allow you to provide automatic discounts to your customers based on the conditions you set up, including volume discounts and surprise and delight flows
  • This tool can be a great way to encourage guests to subscribe to more products from your store while also rewarding your most loyal customers with gifts and surprise discounts

What are Rules?

Rules are a way to provide an automatic discount to your customers based on their subscriptions. There are two types of Rules that you can set up.

  • Volume discount
  • Surprise & Delight

Note: There are also box discounts, which are included in the build-a-box feature. Build-a-box allows your customers to create custom boxes filled with products of their choosing (from a selection determined by you!) to save money.

Volume Discounts

The volume discount option allows you to reward your customers for buying a higher quantity of products on your store. You can set it up to be based on the number of total products, or of a specific product. You can learn more in the volume discount article.

Surprise & Delight

The surprise & delight discount allows you to add either an order discount or a free gift with purchase by selecting the order number that you'd like the surprise to trigger on. You can read more about this feature here.

How do I set it up?

  1. Go to your Skio Dashboard
  2. Click on Rules on the left hand menu
  3. Click + New Rule in the top left corner
  4. Select the type of rule you want to configure and follow the prompts to build out your ideal rule flow
