# Is Skio compatible with Shopify Bundles?

No. [Shopify Bundles](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/bundles/shopify-bundles) is not compatible with Skio. This is a Shopify limitation.

## Why doesn't Shopify Bundles work with subscriptions?

Shopify Bundles isn't built to support selling plans, which is what every subscription app (including Skio) relies on to create and manage subscription contracts. Shopify hasn't extended Bundles to support subscriptions, so there's no workaround available at the platform level.

## What should I use instead?

Skio's [Build-a-Box](/help/docs/build-a-box) is the recommended alternative. It handles the bundle and subscription use case natively, with three configurations to choose from:

- [**Static Box**](/help/docs/static-build-a-box-setup-guide)**:** A fixed-price bundle with preset items.
- [**Dynamic Box**](/help/docs/dynamic-build-a-box-setup-guide)**:** A flexible, mix-and-match bundle where the price adjusts based on what the subscriber selects.
- [**Sectioned Box**](/help/docs/sectioned-build-a-box-guide)**:** Multiple boxes combined in a single subscription. Can mix Static, Dynamic, or both.
