# Cancel Flow A/B Test FAQ

## FAQ

#### How does the traffic split work?

Skio routes each customer who enters a cancel flow to either the Original or the Variant based on the traffic split you set when creating the test. A customer who returns to the same flow later sees the same variant they were originally assigned, so their experience stays consistent.

#### Can I edit a flow while its A/B test is running?

No. Once you publish a test, the flow graph, traffic split, entry conditions, name, and description are locked for the life of the test, including while it's paused. Only the stopping condition and the notify toggle stay editable. If you need to make other changes, cancel the test first.

#### Can I delete a flow that's part of an active test?

No. Flow deletion is blocked for any flow involved in an active test. Complete, cancel, or otherwise end the test first.

#### How does Skio pick a winner?

Skio compares save rate between your Original and Variant against the statistical significance goal you set (for example, 95% confidence). Once that confidence level is reached, Skio flags a winner. If your test reaches its end date without reaching that confidence level, the result is inconclusive rather than a declared winner.

#### What if my test has low traffic or participation?

Low participation can make results less reliable, since there isn't enough data yet to be confident in the difference between variants. Consider running the test longer or broadening its entry conditions if you're not seeing enough sessions.

#### Can I run multiple A/B tests at the same time?

Yes, as long as each test's entry conditions don't overlap exactly with another running test. Skio warns you if you try to launch a test with entry conditions that match an existing one exactly.

#### What happens if a test completes but I haven't picked a winner?

The test stays in a completed state indefinitely. You can come back and review the results or select a winner at any time. Skio doesn't automatically implement a winning variant for you.

#### Why might my results not clearly show the impact of the one change I made?

A/B test results reflect the overall save rate for each flow variant, not just the individual step you changed. If customers select different cancellation reasons between your Original and Variant groups, or if other factors differ, the specific change you're testing can be harder to isolate. To get the clearest read on one change, keep your Variant as close as possible to the Original outside of that one change.

#### Does pausing a test affect the data I've already collected?

No. Pausing stops new traffic from being routed to either variant, but the sessions and metrics you've already collected are retained. You can resume the test later to keep adding to that data.
